Katye Pitt McDorman, 82, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Monday September 4, 2023, at her home. Her wishes were to be cremated and no services are scheduled.

Katye was born April 10, 1941, in Springfield, to the late Albert Wesley and Kathry McPherson Pitt, III. She was a retired bookkeeper. Katye loved cats, collecting and making stuffed teddy bears, and quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Albert Wesley Pitt, IV.

Katye is survived by her husband: David McDorman of Greenbrier, by her daughters: Cindy Basham and Carol Lynn (Junior) Levening both of Richmond, VA, and by her grandson: Steven Tucker.
