Kathy Jane Mantlo Burns, age 59 of Springfield, Tennessee, passed from this life on Friday September 12, 2025, Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday September 17, 2025, in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bronson Lam, Trinity Lam, Tommy Mantlo Sr, David Hall Sr, Timmy Groves, Tommy Mantlo Jr, Jerrod Wilkerson and Pudgie Mayes serving as pallbearers. Jeffrey Thomas Mantlo and Jason Hyde will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Kathy was born on November 25, 1965, in Franklin, KY to Mary Carver Mantlo and the late Richard Arthur Mantlo Sr. Her husband, Ernest “Rip” Burns and brother Timmy Mantlo also preceded her in death. She was a member of Christ Community Church in Springfield. Kathy was a caretaker by trade but also a caretaker outside of work who loved and mothered everyone she came across. She was a collector of anything and everything.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Mary Carver Mantlo; sons and daughter-in-law, David Allen Hall II and wife Jesseca, Teddy Wayne Hall; brothers, Tommy Arthur Mantlo, Richard Arthur Mantlo; sister, Sharon Rena Sanchez; grandchildren, Kaylee Rae Hall, Ezmae Danielle Prather; father of her children, David Hall Sr; nieces, Katelyn Sanchez, Isabella Sanchez; nephew, Christian Sanchez, great niece, Nayeli Sanchez, and by several additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
