June (Covington) Clinard

Audrey June Covington Clinard, 86, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Thursday February 15, 2024, at Springfield Heights Assisted Living. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday February 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Jackson Covington officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with James McKinney, Colin McKinney, Kameron McKinney, Cory Covington, Austin Covington, and Joe Carlisle serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Ms. June was born June 8, 1937, in White House, to the late Roy Cecil and Audrey Lily Rector Covington. She was a graduate of East Robertson High School Class of 1955. Ms. June was a homemaker and a member of Goodlettsville Church of Christ. She loved collecting rocks, gardening, flowers, birdwatching, animals, writing poems and short stories, and going out to eat. Above all, she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Gene Clinard, and by her brothers: Kenny Ray Covington, Bobby Covington, Darvin Covington, and Roy Covington.

Ms. June is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Ronald Gene and Wanda Clinard of Springfield, by her granddaughter: Jennifer McKinney and husband James, by her sister: Ellen Covington Tate of Spring Hill, and by her great grandchildren: Tré McKinney, Jaiden McKinney, Kameron McKinney, and Colin McKinney.
