Julia (Diddle) Starks

Julia Diddle Starks, 94, of Adairville, KY, passed from this life on Friday June 6, 2025, at The Med Center in Bowling Green, KY. Graveside services will be conducted Friday June 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville, KY with Brother Flint Redwine officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Starks, Jeremy Posey, Phillip Posey, Jeff Taylor, Chandler Perdue, and Jimmy Eidson. The family will receive friends on Thursday June 12th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Adairville Church of Christ in Adairville, KY. There will be no visitation on Friday prior to the graveside service.

Ms. Julia was born June 14, 1930, in Schochoh, KY, to the late James Q. and Nannie Dawson Diddle. She was retired from the Adairville Banking Company and was a member of the Adairville Church of Christ. Ms. Julia enjoyed working in her flowers, and mowing her yard. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Bob Starks, by her daughter: Nannette Starks King, and by her sister: Corrine Diddle Taylor. Ms. Julia is survived by her son: James H. “Jim” Starks and wife Pat of Adairville, KY, by her grandchildren: Jaime (Chandler) Perdue, Jeremy (Jennifer) Posey, Phillip (Krista) Posey, Becky (Jimmy) Eidson, Bobby Starks, and John (Tina) Henbest, and by her 15 great grandchildren.
