Judith "Judy" Ann Stambaugh, a vibrant soul, left us on December 7, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on February 15, 1947, in New York, Judy's journey took her to many places including Brandon, Florida, Greenbrier, Tennessee, and eventually to Jackson, Tennessee, where she passed away peacefully.
Judy's life was a testament to her spirited nature. She found her calling as a travel agent, a profession that suited her perfectly. Her love of travel was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of the joy she felt when admiring scenery and experiencing new places.
Judy brought beauty into every corner of her own life. She was an accomplished seamstress, creating pieces for herself and others. Judy's hands were rarely still, as she was often found refinishing furniture with the same care and precision she applied to her sewing. Just two weeks before her passing, she was breathing new life into a piece of furniture.
Judy's home was a canvas for her artistic talents. She loved decorating, transforming her living space into a warm and inviting haven that reflected her impeccable taste and her love for beauty. Her garden, too, was a place of pride and joy. Judy tended to her plants with love and created an outdoor sanctuary that bloomed with color and life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carl Koegler (Paige), Jennifer McClure (Darrin), Dave Stambaugh (Emily), Jeff Stambaugh (Jeree); and grandchildren, Joey Koegler, Miles McClure, Carson McClure, Caleb Stambaugh (Brianne), Sarah Stambaugh, Morgann Stambaugh, Dakota Stambaugh, Anna Stambaugh; great-grandchildren, William Stambaugh, Oliver Stambaugh; brothers, John Groelke (Donna) and Justin Groelke; and sister-in-law Judy Groelke. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn Stambaugh; son, Chris Koegler; grandson, Seth Stambaugh; brothers, Jim Groelke and Joe Groelke; and parents, Frank Groelke, and Dusty Wilson (Hub); and many loving & devoted friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Greenbrier, Tennessee.
As we bid farewell to Judith "Judy" Ann Stambaugh, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey well-traveled, and a legacy of love, beauty, and adventure that will continue to inspire for generations to come. Judy's memory will live on as a beacon of light and a reminder to all of us to embrace life with passion and purpose.
