Joy (Jones) Reeves

Joy Reeves, age 71 of Nashville, peacefully passed  from this life on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Brandon Pugh officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM and Wednesday from 2 PM until the hour of service.

Joy was born February 1, 1952 in Nashville to the late Johnnie Everette and Cecil Ann Walker Jones. She was a homemaker and loved playing with her grandson. She was creative, artistic, a gem enthusiast, a reader, and enjoyed collecting things. She enjoyed history, genealogy, and the arts which she supported.

Surviving her are her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Stephenson and husband Michael of Springfield; grandson, Samuel Stephenson of Springfield; brothers, Phillip Jones of Mt. Juliet, Allen Jones of Mt. Juliet, and Wesley Jones of Nashville; sister, Cindy Hollis and husband Mike of Springfield; nieces, Rachel Wooten and husband Joe of White House and Hillary Hardcastle and husband Josh of Greenbrier; Nephew, Micah Allen of Greenbrier; and great niece and nephew, Riley Wooten and Walker Wooten.
