Josie (Walker) Gray

Josephine Louise “Josie” Gray, age 67 of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at her home. A time of visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 12 noon until 4 PM at Robertson County Funeral Home. Following the visitation, in accordance with her wishes, her remains will be cremated.

Josie was born July 21, 1956 in Springfield to the late Horace and Peggy Blick Walker. She was a retired cook with the Robertson County Schools and also served as a caretaker for the sick. She was a loving wife and mother and also loved flower gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two of her brothers, Tom Walker and Rodney Dale Walker.

Surviving her are her husband of 50 years, Rex Gray of Cedar Hill; sons, William Donald Gray and Erik Steven gray, both of Cedar Hill; brothers, James Walker of Glendale, AZ, Eddie Walker of Springfield, and Buford Walker of Johnsonville; and sisters, Virginia Gainous of Cedar Hill and Sarah Bush of Florida.
