Joseph Sheridan "Joe" Kessinger

Joseph Sheridan “Joe” Kessinger, age 57 of Springfield, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in Springfield. His remains are to be cremated and a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joe was born August 25, 1962 in Corbin, KY. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as an engineer for Kessinger and Associates. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with honors. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Claude Kessinger, and a brother, James Lewis Kessinger.

He is survived by his mother, Phyliss Parrott Kessinger of Springfield; sons, Richard Sheridan Kessinger of Springfield and Joshua Grant Kessinger of North Carolina; brother, Keith Kessinger and wife, Cindi of Springfield; and grandchildren, Connor Sullivan Kessinger and Serenity Patience Kessinger.
