Joseph Eugene Frazier, age 72 of Ashland City, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at Tristar Hospital in Ashland City. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Judson Phenicie officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Jeff Frazier, David Johnson, Bobby Joe Nixon, Anthony Nixon, Timmy Nixon, and Donna Grant serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Frazier, Terry Grant, Mitchell Steele, Chris Cook, and Michael Joe Nixon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
Mr. Frazier was born August 27, 1948 in Springfield to the late James Matthew and Zelpha Jane Bryant Frazier. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired carpet installer. He loved hunting, target shooting, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching all kinds of sports.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Sandova of Ashland City; nephews, Jeff Frazier of Cedar Hill, Timmy Nixon of Ashland City, Anthony Nixon of Ashland City, Bobby Joe Nixon of Springfield, David Johnson, of Springfield and Chris Cook of Clarksville; and nieces, Donna Grant of Barren Plains, Bernice Cook of Clarksville, and Julie Sandova of Burbank, CA.
The family suggest, if so desired, for memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
