Jonathan "J.J." Yates

Jonathan Dale “J.J.” Yates of Adairville, departed this life on Friday December 4, 2020 at North Crest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday December 9th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Christian Hutcherson, Randy McEwing, Luke Maynard, Clay Long, Hammer Yates, and Moono Douglas serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

J.J. was born August 12, 2002 in Springfield. He loved tearing down and rebuilding anything that he could, listening to music, and playing video games. He always carried three or four cell phones, whether they worked or not.

J.J. is survived by his father: Randall “Nan” Yates of Springfield, by his mother: Beth Hutcherson of Adairville, KY, by his daughter: Ziya Nicole Yates of Adairville, KY, by his brothers: Christian Eli Hutcherson and Terry Alanblaze Darrow of Adairville, KY, by his sisters: Hailey Cheyenne Darrow of Adairville, KY, Taylor Rose of Adairville, KY, and Keaton Yates of Cedar Hill, by his grandparents: Tammy Hutcherson of Springfield, Bobby Hutcherson of Springfield, Lonnie and Helen Yates of Springfield, and by his nephews: Austyn Hutcherson, Eric Hyde, Jr., and Micah Hyde.
