Johnny Morgan

John William “Johnny” Morgan, age 78 of Springfield, passed from this life on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Tristar NorthCrest Medical Center. Celebration of life service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM with military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Morgan, John Michael Morgan, Cody Morgan, Austin Morgan, and Corey Stevens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 AM until the time of service.

Mr. Morgan was born January 17, 1947 in Springfield to the late Carney and Eva Chamblis Morgan. He was retired from the United States Army and enjoyed fishing and watching the Tennessee Titans.

Surviving him are his wife, Wanda S. Morgan of Springfield; son, Robert Morgan of Adams; daughter, Cindy (Richard) Huff of Knoxville; grandchildren, Amber Morgan, John Michael Morgan, Cody Morgan, Austin Morgan, Corey Stevens, and Erin Stevens; and great grandchild, Andrew Morgan.
