John Robert Rediker

John Robert Rediker, 76, of Orlinda, passed away on Monday June 29, 2026, at his home. Celebration of Life services will be conducted Saturday July 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Lance Wamble officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday July 11th from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

John was born October 10, 1949, in Springfield, to the late Paul J. and Nancy Wade Rediker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during Vietnam. John was a retired truck driver, having driven for Hinkle Chair and S&F Delivery, he also enjoyed carpentry and farming, and was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church. He loved working word search puzzles, watching Gene Autry on TV, shopping on TEMU, and going to car shows. John’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Evelyn Douglas Rediker, by his grandson that he raised: Keith Rediker, and by his sister: Connie Rediker. John is survived by his daughter: Tina Martin of Orlinda, by his son: Robert Rediker of Portland, by his granddaughter that he raised: Elizabeth Looker and her husband, Trey, by his brother: Tommy Rediker of Dickson, by his sisters: Ann Sutton of Charlotte, Elaine Wren of Adairville, KY, and Reba Douglas of Springfield, by his four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and by his fur babies: Hudson and Moto.
