John Edward Owens

John Edward Owens, age 80 of Springfield, TN, died Saturday July 11, 2020 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday July 16, 2020 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm on Thursday.

John was born July 25, 1939 in Robertson Co., TN to the late Willie and Emma Birdwell Owens. His daughter, Lisa Owens and grandchild, Candace Owens also preceded him in death. John was of the Baptist faith and was the owner of Precision Welding. He enjoyed working, truck pulling and especially loved his grandchildren.

Surviving Mr. Owens are his wife, Susan Jones Owens of Springfield, TN; son David Anthony Owens of Greenbrier, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Owens Bradley and Eliot of Cedar Hill, TN; grandchildren, Abigail, Olivia and Ellie Kate Bradley and David Owens Jr and eleven great grandchildren.
