Joseph Glenn “Joe” Hallman, 78, of Adairville, KY, passed away on Monday September 28, 2020 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Graveside services will be conducted Friday October 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville with Brother Don Billingsley and Joe Slate officiating. Pallbearers will be Joedy Hallman, Joseph Hallman, Eric Taylor, Joe Slate, Jeremy Slate, and Joseph Violette. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers: Stan, Phil, and Carney Hallman. The family will receive friends at the graveside service on Friday.
Mr. Hallman was born November 19, 1941 in Adairville, KY to the late Russell and Lois Smith Hallman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during Vietnam. Mr. Hallman was retired from the maintenance department at Precision Products, was a farmer, and a member of Millertown Church of Christ. He enjoyed bird and coon hunting, Kentucky basketball, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially Joseph and Emily, his grandchildren.
Mr. Hallman is survived by his wife of 52 years: Sue Jones Hallman of Adairville, KY, his son and daughter-in-law: Joedy and Dee Dee Hallman of Adairville, KY, by his daughter and son-in-law: Suzanne and Eric Taylor of Springfield, by his grandchildren: Joseph Hallman and Emily Taylor, and by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Stan and Beverly Hallman, Phil and Alice Hallman, Carney and Rita Hallman all of Adairville, KY.
