JoAnn Green Riddle, 86, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday May 13, 2024, at her home. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday May 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Jones officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Palmer, Myles Baldwin, Henry Palmer, Clay Thomerson, Tyler Grevious, Shawn Parkton, and Duane Vinson. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday May 25th at the funeral home.
Mrs. Riddle was born September 25, 1937, in Nashville, to the late James P. and Lucille Price Green. She was a graduate of Cohn High School and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Riddle was the owner/operator of Beauty Unlimited in Nashville for many years, and then later retired as a real estate agent. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping, having lunch with her friends, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Jimmy Green and by her sister: Judy McAdams.
Mrs. Riddle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Julie and Denny Vinson of Greenbrier, by her grandchildren: Stefanie (Aaron) Palmer, Jennifer (Clay) Thomerson, Leah (Tyler) Grevious, and Nichole (Shawn) Parkton, by her sisters: Helen Green of Old Hickory, Evelyn (Roy) Whitehead of Hermitage, Sherron Wakefield of Milton, and Jane (Rick) Carver of Columbia, by her eleven great grandchildren, and by her lifelong friend: Evelyn (Terry) Harris.
Mrs. Riddle’s family would like to thank April, Wes, Lauren, and all of the Gentiva Hospice staff for their care and concern for her.
