Jennifer Jo (Burns) Johnson

Jennifer Jo Johnson, age 49 of Springfield, Tennessee died Tuesday May 25, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 5 pm on Thursday May 27, 2021 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Her remains will be cremated after the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 pm till the hour of service at 5 pm.

Jennifer was born November 11, 1971 in Springfield to Shirley Pewitt Burns Adcock and the late Joe Thomas Burns. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Joe Burns and sister, JoAnn Burns. She worked as a caregiver. Jennifer loved her family, especially her grandchildren and had a special fondness for animals.

She is survived by her mother, Shirley Burns Adcock of Springfield; son, Michael (Mandy Jackson) Johnson of Lewisburg, KY; daughter’s, Cassondra Norris of Lewisburg, KY, and Jessica Johnson of Springfield; sister, Melissa Drake of Cottontown, TN and grandchildren, Aydan Jones, Haley Norris, Thomas Burns and one on the way.
