Jennie (Gustin) McElyea

Jennie McElyea, age 79 of Ridgetop, Tennessee, died Friday July 23, 2021, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday July 27, 2021, in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Pastor Scott Dobbins officiating. The family will receive friends at the Robertson County Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 am until 1:30 pm.

Mrs. McElyea was born October 10, 1941 in Port Sanilac, MI to the late Bill Gustin and Allegra Lance Gustin. A grandchild, Cory McCormack also preceded her in death. She was a member of Bellshire Assembly of God and was retired from IBM. Jennie had the heart of a true caregiver. She enjoyed reading and collecting antiques, particularly items made of copper.

She is survived by her son, Joe L. Mcelyea, daughter, Laurie (Billy) McCormack and grandchildren, Amanda Ann Kirk and Billy McCormack IV.

If so desired, the family suggest that memorial donations may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center. All donations may be sent care of the Robertson County Funeral Home.
