Janis Sharleen Carney

Janis Sharleen White Carney, 71, of Hendersonville, passed from this life on Wednesday April 6, 2022, at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday April 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor John McClendon officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with Marty White, Brandon White, Ray White, and Rodney Newman serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carney was born January 12, 1951, in Nashville to the late Charles Raymond and Velma Lucille Hodges White. She was a retired clerk with the Nashville Postal Plant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Wayne Carney, and by her brother: Donnie Raymond White.

Mrs. Carney is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Ray and Betty White of Goodlettsville, Jerry and Patsy White of Hendersonville, and by her sister: Wanda Faye Graham of Hendersonville.
