James Robert Spaunhorst

James Robert Spaunhorst, 77, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday August 30, 2021, at his home. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday September 11th at 1:00 p.m. at Lord’s Friendly Mission 915 B. Old Hickory Blvd. Madison, TN 37115. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time on Saturday September 11th at the Lord’s Friendly Mission.

Mr. Spaunhorst was born September 10, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Robert and Von James Spaunhorst. He was a retired Warranty Inspector of Groom’s Engines and was of the Church of Christ faith. He was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks football fan, enjoyed playing golf, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Spaunhorst is survived by his wife, Virginia Cole Spaunhorst of Greenbrier, whom he would be married too for 37 years this November, by his sons and daughters-in-law: Eric and Annetta Spaunhorst of Bald Knob, AR, Ben Spaunhorst of Bald Knob, AR, Christopher and Stephanie Spaunhorst of Greenbrier, and by 9 grandchildren.
