Jackie Lynn "Gaga" Brophy

Jackie Lynn "Gaga" Brophy, age 64 of Adams, died Friday, November 30, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service. Following the service her remains will be cremated.
Mrs. Brophy was born September 10, 1954 in Florala, AL to Paul Harris Strange and the late Opal Irene Davis Strange. She was a member of Red River Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and just riding around in her car as well as yard sales, camping, and boating. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Opal Elaine Douglas, and a brother, William Strange.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Brophy of Adams; father, Paul Strange of Adams; son, Chad Daniel Flanders and wife Serena of Choctaw Beach, FL; daughters, Daphne Flanders Burson and husband Steven of Mantachie, MS and Heather Brophy Nielsen and husband Joshua of Fremont, NE; brothers, Ronnie Strange of Adams and David Strange of Spring Hill, FL; sister, Susie Kennedy of Crestview, FL; and grandchildren, Cody Swenbeck, Jason Carpenter, Maghan Ray, Kasey Flanders, Abbigail Galloway, Lila Grace Burson, Lydia Burson, Jordan Lott, Trista Lott, Bryson Lott, Isaiah Nielsen, and Nevaeh Nielsen.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
