Jack Baggett, 72, of Cedar Hill, passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday September 13th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Gillespie and Billy Vogle officiating. Interment will follow in Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Ricky Arms, Tracy Bibee, Phillip Head, Tiny Pippin, Alan Shepard, and Tim Vick serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Jack was born June 15, 1948 in Robertson County. He was a retired Equipment Operator for CSX Railroad. He enjoyed raising cows, hunting, and his favorite hobby was working. If Jack was your friend you had a true friend, and all that knew him experienced his select vocabulary and choice of words when in conversation together. He was preceded in death by his father: Henry Eugene Baggett, by his brother: Bob Baggett, and by his significant other: Dianne Russell.
Jack is survived by his sons: Jackie Baggett and Darla Carter Dowlen of Adams, Jason Baggett of Cedar Hill, by his daughter and son-in-law: Lisa Baggett Rymell and Dr. Tom Rymell of Ft. Worth, TX, by his mother: Mildred Sneed Baggett of Cedar Hill, by his brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim and Jean Baggett of Adams, Mac and Evelyn Baggett of Cedar Hill, by his sisters and brothers-in-law: Laverda and Lealand Smiley of Greenbrier, Sally and Wayne Watkins of Pike Road, AL, by his grandchildren: Tracen Baggett, Kayla Baggett, Madison Baggett, Beau Baggett, and Mary Grace Rymell, and by 2 great grandchildren.
