Helen Marie Poole

Helen Marie Poole, age 72 of Orlinda, passed from this life on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Orlinda Baptist with Pastor Lance Wamble and Dr. David Jicka officiating. Burial will follow in Jake Link Cemetery in Cottontown with Dalton Poole, Danny Poole, Dillion Poole, Roger Carter, William Carter, Joel Bernard, and David Poole serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be James Larry “Jimmy” Poole, Jr. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 4 until 7 PM and Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service.

Helen was born May 3, 1952 in Cottontown to the late Lois and Sue Ethel Rigsbee Poole. She was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church and had worked at Orlinda Shirt Factory. She liked hummingbirds, windchimes, dogs, photography, flowers, and painting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Larry and Jerry Dean Poole, and a sister, Shirley Ray Ketron.

Surviving her are her daughter, Emily Poole of Orlinda; sisters, Icy Rennier Sautter of Orlinda and Wanda Kay Goodman of Florida; nephews, James Larry “Jimmy” Poole, Jr., Andrew Ketron, and Bubba Sautter; and nieces, Ashley Thorhauer, Sarah Ketron, Kristen Goodman, Jennifer Fortenberry, and Sherry Gammon.

The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to Robertson County Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
