Helen Frances Pinson Jones, 99, of Cottontown, passed from this life on Sunday January 17, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday January 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother David Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery with Nicky Pinson, Brandon Pinson, Chris Osborne, Jacob Butterworth, Kenny Ray Chowning, James Ed Randolph, Glenn Phillips, and Charlie Perkins serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born March 31, 1921 in Cross Plains to the late Walter Albert and Ada Moore Randolph. She was a retired order clerk with Southern Heel and was a member of New Life General Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and especially spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and always enjoyed when her table was full with her loved ones enjoying all the wonderful dishes she prepared.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Curtis Pinson, Miles Baker, and Mizell Jones, by her children: Gene Pinson and Patsy Shrum, by her brothers: Rufus “Buck”, Nick, Yank, James, Guy, and Jack Randolph, and by her sisters: Elsie Randolph Harper and Zelma Randolph Terrell.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Lanny and Glinda Pinson of Cottontown, by her daughter: Judy Pinson Hand of Cottontown, by her sister: Georgia Elizabeth Phillips of Portland, and by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
