Helen C. (Orand) Eidson

Helen, C. Eidson, age 91 of Springfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2026, at 1 pm in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Jared Cobb, Drew Cobb, Jackson Cobb, Hunter Hankins, Sonny Jones, Cody Dillard, Timmy Hankins, Jesse Holland and Buster Holland serving as pallbearers.

Helen was born January 30, 1935, in Robertson County, Tennessee to the late Jewell and Georgia Morris Orand. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, she retired as a switch board operator at the former Memorial Hospital in Madison, TN. As the proud matriarch of her family, Helen’s love for them was unconditional; she was their unwavering strength who was always there for the ones she held most dear.

Surviving her are her son and daughter-in-law; Michael Lloyd Cobb and Pam, daughters and sons-in-law; Beverly Tate and Brian, Renee Wooden and Mike, her brother and sister-in-law; Jimmy Orand and Shirley, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
