Harace Wayne Carter

Harace Wayne Carter, age 72 of Pleasant View, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. His remains are to be cremated. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Thursday March 17, 2022 at the Robertson County Funeral Home from 4pm until 8 pm.

Harace Wayne was born February 17, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late, Floyd Edward and Susie Young Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Billy, and Tommy Carter and by a sister, Linda Carter.

He worked in auto upholstery, and he retired from Peterbilt. He enjoyed old cars, westerns, and the family said that he could fix anything.

Mr. Carter is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Michelle Carter of Greenbrier, Steve and Holly Carter of Greenbrier, and Daniel and Melissa Shook of Gallatin;; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann White of Smyrna, Peggy and Danny Curtis of Smithville, and Lela and Randy Chowning of Greenbrier; good friends, Gerald “Tater” and Dot Tate of Pleasant View and 12 grandchildren.

The family would like to give a big thank you to Gerald and Dot Tate for their devoted friendship to Harace Wayne.
