Gloria Jean (Grimm) Grundy

Gloria Jean Grundy, 92, of Springfield, passed away on Monday August 26, 2024, at NHC in Springfield. Her wishes were to be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.

Mrs. Grundy was born October 8, 1931, in Fayette, PA, to the late BW and Evelyn Grimm. She worked many years as a medical assistant at UC Medical Center in San Francisco. Mrs. Grundy was part of the Jazz music scene back in the 60’s and 70’s with her first husband, Tom Reynolds. She loved cooking, caring for her family, and especially loved her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bill Grundy and by her brother: Jack Grimm.

Mrs. Grundy is survived by her sons: Craig Thomas Reynolds of Reno, NV and Zack Reynolds of Springfield, by her daughter: Kimberly Reynolds of Sacramento, CA, and by her three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
