Obituary

Glenn David Johnson, 72, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday November 19, 2020 at his home. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday November 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Joe Bogle officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson was born December 23, 1947 in Sewanee, TN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a retired sales representative. Mr. Johnson loved golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, and especially being with his dog, Harley, who was also his golf caddy. He was preceded in death by his father: George Johnson, Jr., by his mother: Ann Barnes Pearson, and by his brothers: Mike Johnson and Tony Pearson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife: Fontaine Zhong Johnson of Springfield, by his son and daughter-in-law: John and Tammy Johnson of Clarksville, by his daughter and son-in-law: Angie and Scott Sanders of Paducah, KY, by his grandchildren: Dillon Johnson, Alex Johnson, Presley Sanders, Ellie Sanders, and Brady Sanders, by his brothers: Steve Pearson of Pleasant View and Palma Pearson of Ashland City, and by his dog, Harley.
