Georgia M. (Watson) Bryant

Georgia M. Watson Bryant, age 91, of Springfield, TN, passed away on April 15, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Georgia was born July 3, 1930 in Springfield, TN to the late Walter Wade and Clara Ella Leftrick Watson. She was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church where she taught children and adult Sunday school classes. Georgia enjoyed children and homemaking.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Perry D. Bryant and her brothers: Howard (Buck) Watson, Robert (Rusty) Watson, and Edgar (Eddie) Watson.

Georgia is survived by her son, Mike Bryant, of Unionville, TN; her daughters and sons-in-law: Marilyn (Boyce) Byrum, of Goodlettsville, TN and Donna (Mike) Horton, of Greenbrier, TN; her grandsons: Trey Byrum, of Goodlettsville, TN, Brandon Bryant, of Charlotte, TN, and Ethan Bryant, of Unionville, TN; her great grand-daughter, Jenna Byrum; her sister, Shirley (Kirby) Holt, of Marietta, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bob Carroll officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Georgia’s family wishes to thank all the staff at Hickory Gardens Assisted Living who cared for Georgia for five years, Aveanna Hospice, and Alive Hospice.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church in Springfield. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
