George Bowles Obituary
Mr. George Robert Bowles, age 81 of Springfield, TN died Monday May 16, 2016 at his home. He was born November 9, 1934 in Milltown, IN to the late Angus Overton and Bertha Templeton Bowles. His wife, Naomi Joyce Hawkins Bowles also preceded him in death. He was a retired veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retired from CSX Railroad.
Surviving Mr. Bowles are his son, Angus O. "Buddy" Bowles of Woodbury, TN; daughter, Paula L. Lowery of Indiana, Dana I. Blankenship of Cedar Hill. TN; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Bowles was cremated and a private military honors service was held.
