Gayle (Chapman) Wisener

Gayle Wisener, age 76 of Springfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Bro. Terry McCormick officiating and Gabe Wisener, Connor Wisener, Cole Chaudoin, Daniel Ashburn, Michael Ashburn, and John Wisener serving as pallbearers. Jesse Wisener and Jim Wisener will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive Friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 until 7 PM and Saturday from 11 AM until the hour of service.

Mrs. Gayle was born March 26, 1945 in Dayton, OH to the late William Frank and Dorothy Lehman Chapman, Jr. while her father was stationed at Wright Field. She was a member of Orlinda Church of Christ and she was a homemaker. She was a good cook and enjoyed it. She also loved traveling, University of Tennessee Football, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Wisener of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Brent and Amy Wisener of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri Lynn and John Ashburn of Lafayette and Vicki Denise and Robert Chaudoin of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Gabe (Meredith) Wisener, Connor (Sutton) Wisener, Cole Chaudoin, Kate Chaudoin, Daniel Ashburn, Michael Ashburn, Jamie Ashburn, and Emily Ashburn; and great grandson, Cale Wisener.

The family requests, if so desired for memorial contributions to be made to Comfort Care Hospice. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
