Gail (Coleman) Cardwell

Mrs. Randal Gail Cardwell, age 76 of Hendersonville, TN died Wednesday May 19, 2021 at the Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday May 22, 2021 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Orlinda Cemetery. Scot Medsker, Shaun Medsker, Tyler Sappington, Clay Sappington, Logan Sappington and Steve Swain will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 am until the hour of service at 1 pm.

Gail was born November 21, 1944 in Springfield, TN to the late Ranal Coleman and Maggie McClain Coleman. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a homemaker in every sense of the word. Gail enjoyed making porcelain dolls, even sewing their clothes. She loved making things pretty. Gail loved to travel. She and Billie were able to visit many parts of the world.

Gail is survived by her husband, Billie Cardwell; daughters and sons-in-law, Leda and Brady McLean and Lora and William Sappington; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Sally Cardwell, sisters and brother-in-law, Carlin “Carol” and Ralph Padilla and Shery Brown; grandsons, Scot Medsker, Shaun Medsker, Tyler Sappington, Clay Sappington, Logan Sappington; granddaughter, Sarah Swain and great grandson, Silas Medsker.
