Freddy Pinson

Freddy Webb Pinson, age 82 of Cross Plains, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. He was born August 5, 1939 in Cross Plains to the late Guy and Delma Webb Pinson. He was an avid farmer and mechanic and he attended Cross Plains United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Suzanne Jiran and Nancy Curl.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Stringer Pinson of Cross Plains; son, David Pinson of Springfield; daughter, Carole Headen of Lexington, SC; brother, Joe Pinson of White House; and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Plains Cemetery with David Pinson, Austin Pinson, Steve Pinson, Steve Stringer, Greg Hadlock, and Craig Searcy serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the East Robertson Class of 1957. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 8 PM and Saturday from 1 PM until the hour of service.
