Frances Ray Tuttle Morton, 79, of Springfield, passed from this life on Friday August 9, 2024, at the home of her daughter in White House. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday August 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Joe Rhoten officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 24th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Frances was born May 4, 1945, in Westmoreland, to the late Jesse James and Opal Erlene Mince Tuttle. She was a graduate of Hume Fogg High School Class of 1963. Frances worked in electronics at Aladdin for many years, and then became a beautician and retired from that profession. She loved crafts, was a huge Elvis Presley fan, loved caring for others, and she loved flowers, especially orchids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law: Chris Burton.
Frances is survived by her husband of 56 years: Robert “Bobby” Morton of Springfield, by her son: Richie Morton of Nashville, by her daughter: Garah Morton Burton of White House, by her grandchildren: Seth Morton, Meliah Miranda, Savannah Burton, Christian Burton, Jesse Slayton, and Derrick Slayton, and by her great grandchildren: Kaylee Ann and Bobby Ray.
