Evelyn (Wilson) Kennedy

Evelyn Wilson Kennedy, 85, of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Friday November 20, 2020 at Springfield Heights Assisted Living. A private family graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday November 24th in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Reverend Michael Smith officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Kennedy was born February 8, 1935 in Houston County to the late John Thurman (J.T.) and Dora Louise Thomas Wilson. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Kennedy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, and really loved playing bingo with her fellow residents at Springfield Heights. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Harold W. Kennedy, and by her brother: Dr. Thomas M. Wilson.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Wayne W. (Pamela) Kennedy of Ohatchee, AL, Michael H. (Paula) Kennedy of Cedar Hill, by her daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Kennedy (Danny) Miller of Adams, Carole Kennedy (John) Ballman of Cottontown, by her sister: Delma Wilson Kennedy of Greenbrier, by her grandchildren: Andy Ballman, Laura Beth McCaslin, and Mary Evelyn Green, by six great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and eleven step great grandchildren.
