Elaine Brothers Bowington, 63, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday May 20, 2024, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. In honor of her wishes, her remains will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a future date.
Elaine was born September 23, 1960, in Murfreesboro, to the late Robert Comer and Ester Dell Porterfield Brothers. She was a graduate of Maplewood High School Class of 1978. Elaine worked as a stock associate at Belk in Springfield, and she was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and watching TV, especially Ghost Hunters. The highlight of Elaine’s life was spending time with her husband, her girls, and her cat.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 45 years: Les Bowington of Springfield, by her daughters: Lesley (Jason Ringrose) Bowington of Nashville and Heather (Eddie) Hauser of Nashville, and by her fur baby that she loved so much, her cat Jackson.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
