Dustin Wayne Hinkle, 35, of Greenbrier, passed away on Sunday June 28, 2020 at North Crest Health. Funeral services will be conducted Monday July 6th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Steve Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Chris Jackson, David Crane, Preston Carter, Stetson Carter, Blake Hinkle, Barret Carter, Cody Pacheco, and Jackson Carter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Johnson. The family will receive friends on Sunday July 5th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Dustin was born November 29, 1984 in Springfield. He worked as a forklift operator and was of the Baptist faith. Dustin enjoyed playing poker and shooting pool. He loved football, especially the Miami Dolphins and the UT Vols. Dustin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Porter and Jean Cook, Lacy and Helen Hinkle, by his aunt: Rita Hinkle, and by his uncle: Steve Cook.
Dustin is survived by his parents: Terry and Dawn Cook Hinkle of Greenbrier, by his daughter: Natalie Grace Hinkle of Greenbrier, by his brother: Brandon Hinkle of Greenbrier, by his sister and brother-in-law: Chelsea and Kenneth Cooper of Springfield, and by his niece and nephews: McKenna Cooper, Bentley Cooper, and Blake Hinkle.
