Dottie (Lassiter) Guill

Doris Marie “Dottie” Guill, 74, of Old Hickory, passed from this life on Wednesday November 2, 2022, at her home. Graveside services will be conducted Monday November 7th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakland Cemetery with Brother Jake Townsend officiating. Pallbearers will be Ken Reasoner, Kenny Reasoner, Trevor Reasoner, Brian Crofton, Colin Crofton, Grant Irwin, Robin Haneline, Donnie Haneline, and Jeff Hale. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Dottie was born August 15, 1948, in Detroit, MI, to the late Charles Bryan Lassiter and Lillian Doris Epps Lassiter. She was a graduate of White House High School Class of 1965 and was a retired production worker for Remay. Dottie loved boating and talking to her friends and family. The highlight of her life was her dog, Smiley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Charles Lassiter, and sister-in-law: Tracy Haneline.

Dottie is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law: Judy and Ken Reasoner of Goodlettsville, Linda and Jeff Hale of Goodlettsville, Debbie Lassiter Hampton and husband Marvin of Ashland City, by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Robin and Brenda Haneline of Springfield, Donnie Haneline of Springfield, and Gloria Lassiter of Portland,  by several nieces and nephews, and by her dog, Smiley.
