Dorothy Danise Davis Draughon, age 91 of Springfield, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at her home. There will be a private graveside at the Springfield Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Tim Harris officiating and Katherine Greer, Jeremiah Greer, Bradley Martin Steven Martin, Michael Greer, Dennis Davis, and Tommy Marshall serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Draughon was born February 27, 1935 in Lynnville to the late John W. and Mattie Sue White Davis. She enjoyed reading, doing crafts, sewing, working crossword puzzles, and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harold Draughon; brothers, Willie, Lonnie, Bobby, and J.W. Davis, Jr.; and sisters, Louise Marshall and Evelyn Marshall.
Surviving her are her daughters and sons-in law, Debra and Geary Greer of Goodlettsville, Bonny and Kevin Martin of Cedar Hill, and Dianna Dorris of Springfield; sister, Wanda Sue Andrews of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Katherine Greer, Jeremiah Greer, Bradley Martin, and Steven Martin; and great grandchildren, Michael Greer and Everly J. Martin.
The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
