Donnie Mac Wright

Donnie Mac Wright, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Monday March 20, 2023, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Memorial services will be conducted Monday March 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Woodard officiating. The family will receive friends on  Monday March 27th from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.

Donnie Mac was born January 24, 1955, in Springfield, to the late John L. and Evelyn Faye Hendrix Wright. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1973, worked many years in pool construction, and was of the Baptist faith. Donnie Mac enjoyed shooting guns, playing pool with his friends, and he always enjoyed a “cold one” at the end of the day.

Donnie Mac is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law: Cody and Kandis Wright of Pleasant View, Cole Wright of Charlotte, and Mac Wright of Springfield, by his grandchildren: Mallory Brooke Wright, Macon Blayne Wright, and Maggie Belle Wright, and by his companion: Deborah Grogan Evans of Cedar Hill.
