Donna (West) Cherry

Donna Raye West Cherry, 58, of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday March 24, 2022, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday April 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Jady Groves, Jed Groves, Terry Kirby, Mike Penticost, Caden Cherry, Mitchell Henderson, Mitchell Henderson, Carson Cherry, and Damien Coleman serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Donna was born September 23, 1963, in Springfield to the late Roy “Dick” and Edna Faye Brown West. She was the Infant Department Manager at Springfield Walmart and was of the Baptist faith. Donna loved her job and her work family. She was very dedicated to both Wal Mart and the customers that she served while working there. She enjoyed being outside with the birds, and especially feeding the hummingbirds. Donna had a great love for windchimes, Harley motorcycles, horror movies, crime investigation shows, riding horses, and listening to her husband play his guitar or his drums. The main two highlights of Donna’s life were her grandchildren, and then her dogs: Max and Annie.

Donna is survived by her husband of 32 years: Edward Cherry of Springfield, by her sons and daughters-in-law: Cody and Melissa Kirby of Crossville, Corey and Alyssa Cherry of Clarksville, by her daughters and son-in-law: Cassie and Jady Groves of Greenbrier, Cindy Cherry of Crossville, and Kelsey Kirby of Crossville, by her grandchildren: Caden, Adeline, Damien, Carson, Evan, Ramey, Lilah, Zane, Jackson, and Owen, by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard and Elaine West of Springfield, Roger and Kim West of Springfield, and by her sister and brother-in-law: Sandy and Joe Groves of Springfield.
