Donald Wayne Biggs

Donald Wayne Biggs, age 73 of Springfield, died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Hagerman and Rev. Buddy Hagerman officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial; Gardens with James Holden, Chad Collins, Wallace Whitaker, Kyle Biggs, Howard Gamble, Bob Leftwich, Ron Gregory, and Richard Lee serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 AM until the hour of service.

Mr. Biggs was born November 17, 1946 in Buffalo, NY to the late James Raymond and Margaret Elizabeth Glawatz Biggs. He was a master carpenter and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Linda Ann “Lynn” Biggs, his daughter, Tammy Charlene Biggs and his brothers, Richard and Freddie Biggs.

He is survived by his son, Richard Biggs of Springfield; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Mitch Kirby of Ashland City; brother, Norman Biggs and grandchildren, Chad Lawrence Collins and fiancée Jasmine Marie Williams and Sydney Lee Kirby.

Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
