Derick E. Luthe, age 50, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ last Thursday morning, June 10, 2021.
Derick was known as the “go to guy”, “a jack of all trades”, as well as “my man Derick” by those who loved him. He spent many years racing cars with his late father, Carl Luthe. A time he loved talking about. The time he spent with his dad doing this was very special to him.
Derick had 3 sons of whom he loved dearly. Jackson, Zachary and Kendrick were always in his heart even when he was unable to be with them. His hope and prayer were that they would know Jesus the way he came to know Him.
He and his wife Wendy lived in Springfield, TN. He also had 2 step-sons, Brenton Stahl and Colby Stahl. Wendy loved Derick more than he could have ever known. He is also survived by his mom, Mary Luthe, a sister, Amy Luthe McIntosh, a brother, Shane Luthe and several nieces and nephews along with a whole church family at Purpose Life Church in Springfield, TN.
Derick always had a smile, a joke or something to say. His goal was to make you laugh no matter the circumstances. He was dearly loved by many people and in turn loved everyone he met. He will be truly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Purpose Life Church, 805 Memorial Blvd., Springfield, TN on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 6:30 PM.
