Obituary for Debra Lou Beasley-Blank
March 21, 1956 – October 3, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother , Debra Lou Beasley-Blank, affectionately known as “Deb” and lovingly called “Nana”. She passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 69 at her granddaughters home in Cedar Hill, TN surrounded by her family.
Debra was born on March 21, 1956, in Washington State, to Ralph and Freeda Beasley. She grew up surrounded by the love of her family and carried those values of love, strength, and resilience throughout her life.
Debra was the devoted mother and survived by two daughters, Amy Mauzy (Steven) and Sharan Ellis (Jay), and the proud grandmother of Shelby Wooten, Alex Starks, Austin Rice, Sarah Jo Wooten, and Brooklyn Rice. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Cooper West, Mary Jo Schrader, and Ezra Duncan, each of whom brought her endless joy. Debra was the oldest of 5 siblings , her sister Donna Beasley and brothers Tim Beasley and Ralph Beasley Jr. She was blessed with a great friend that she considered a sister Marie “Red” Robertson. Debra is also survived by her former husband Allan Blank.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Freeda Beasley, and her sister Alice Bellamy.
Debra will be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her strength through life’s challenges, and the way she always made her home a welcoming place. Her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support will be missed more than words can express.
A Memorial Service will be held at Robertson County Funereal Home on October 26 at 3:30 PM with visitation being from 2:000 PM until the time of service. All who knew and loved Deb are welcome to attend and share memories in honor of her life.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—and in all those whose lives she touched with love, patience, and kindness.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robertson County Senior Citizens Center and may be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
