David Earl Miller

David Earl Miller, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday October 21, 2023, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday October 25th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Hester officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

David was born April 17, 1953, in Clinton, TN, to the late Bill and Lessie Pauline Marlow Miller. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1971 and was a member of Christ Community Apostolic Church in Springfield. David worked several years for Better Block, and then for Macy’s in Portland. He loved metal scrapping, ginseng hunting, and anything that he could be outdoors doing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Charles Clayton Miller.

David is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law: Jim and Kitty Miller of Springfield, and Melvin Miller of Springfield, by his niece: Dr. Courtney Dickson and husband Kyley of Knoxville, by his nephew: Christopher William Miller of Springfield, and by his great niece: Ruth Kathryn Dickson of Knoxville.
