David Gerald Green, Sr., age 63 of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at his home. His remains will be cremated and no public service is planned at this time.

David was born September 13, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL to the late George Gerald and Shirley Ann Collins Green. He was retired from Georgia Pacific where he was a supervisor.

He is survived by his wife, Vickey Green of Springfield; son, David Green, Jr. of Georgia; daughters, Alisha Kajzer of Indiana, Misty Duke of Greenbrier, and Tonie Duke of Springfield; brother, Danny Green of Georgia; sisters, Barbara Smith and Gwen Peterman, both of Georgia; and grandchildren, Morgan, Trey, Sarah Grace, Jason, Abby, Madison, Aiden Anthony, and Maddox.
