Michael David Bond, 75, of Adairville, KY, passed from this life on Monday May 11, 2026, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville, KY with Luke Benson, Rusty Gloyd, Mitch Bond, Lloyd Johnson, David Osborne, Dusty Atkinson, Elisha Taylor, and Sidney Bond serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Haydon and Bobby Buchanan. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
David was born November 16, 1950, in Russellville, KY, to the late William and Virginia Mae Sharp Bond. He was a graduate of Adairville High School Class of 1968, was a retired truck driver with Electrolux in Springfield, and was a member of Calvary General Baptist Church in Adairville, KY. David enjoyed knife collecting, working on lawnmowers, antique cars, participating in the St. Jude Coon Hunt, and getting on Facebook to keep up with his friends and see what everyone was doing. His favorite pastime was being with his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cindy Gainous Bond of Adairville, KY, by his son: Jason Bond and wife Cindy of Russellville, KY, by his daughters: Kelsey Bond Benson and husband Luke of Adairville, KY, Brittney Bond Bates and husband Brian of Russellville, KY, by his grandchildren: Mitch Bond and wife Sandi, Lauren Taylor and husband Elisha, Beckham Benson, and Addilyn Mae Benson, and by his great grandchildren: Jacob Duna and Hunter Bush.
