Danny Gene Carr

Danny Gene Carr, 68, of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Friday January 10, 2025, at his home. In honor of his wishes, his remains will be cremated and no services are scheduled.

Danny was born October 21, 1956, in Russellville, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Lucy Holder Carr. He was retired from the Maintenance department of Seay Oil Company. Danny enjoyed tractor pulls, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law: Rayburn “Skattin” Bugg.

Danny is survived by his daughter Wendy Bugg (Dean) O’Bryan of Cumberland Furnace, by his granddaughter: Alyssa (David Eden) Bugg of Adams, by his great grandchildren: Oaklyn White and Oden Eden, by the mother of his daughter: Gail Clymer of Adams, by his brothers: Dudley Carr of Russellville, KY, James (Pam) Carr of Saddlersville, Jimmy (Donna) Carr of Crafton, KY, C.W. (Vickie) Carr of Manchester, and by his sisters: Betty (Randy) Arms of Springfield, Carolyn Roberson of Cedar Hill, Donna (Henry) Thurston of Lafayette, and Joyce (Dale) West of Guthrie, KY.
