Danita (Grubbs) Grice

Danita Rae Grice went to be with the lord Saturday September 12th, 2020 after a long and courageous fight. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on March 17th, 1961 to Paul and Arlena Grubbs.

Surviving is her mother Arlena Grubbs; three children James Huffman, Chelsea Huffman, and Joshua Grice; grandchildren Anita, Gregory, and Mary Jane Huffman; sisters Madonna Dooley (Gary), DaRhonda Brown (Todd), and Sharon Grubbs; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends that became family. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Grubbs, brother Paul Grubbs Jr, and soulmate Vincent Grice.

Danita was a 1979 graduate of Wes-Del High School. Over the years she worked in several administrative positions but really enjoyed her current job as a Pampered Chef Consultant. She loved spending time with her family, and it was always extra special making memories with her grandchildren. She lived in and visited a variety destinations throughout the US but had a special place in her heart for Hawaii after an anniversary trip with her late husband. She loved animals and her dog Chloe was always by her side. She enjoyed hobbies like sewing, fishing, and live music. She had a strong Christian faith that carried her through the many obstacles she encountered. Her resilience served as an inspiration to us all.
