Dalton Tramell Obituary

Dalton Bailey Tramell, 23, of Springfield, passed away on Monday October 4, 2021, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday October 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Marlar and Reverend Patrick Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Willie Read, Zack Gammon, Dylan Bush, Sammy Gray, Dual Bilyeu, and Hank Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Gammon, Jimmy Hakes, Chandler Payne, Caleb Payne, Keith Hauskins, Joseph Bilyeu, Tim Black, Les Richardson, Bud Johnson, Jr. Chatham, and Danny Demombreum. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Dalton was born March 14, 1998, in Hendersonville. He was a graduate of Jo Byrns High School Class of 2016. He was a HVAC service technician and he attended Zions Chapel Assembly of God. Dalton loved hunting, trucks, and anything that allowed him to be outdoors. He loved spending time with all of his family, but the pride and joy of his life was his wife and two children. Dalton was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jerry Wayne Jernigan, Jessie Deana Hauskins, and Rex Read.

Dalton is survived by his wife: Peyton Gammon Tramell of Springfield, by his son: Easton Braydon Tramell and by his daughter: Bailey Lynn Tramell both of Springfield, by his father and mother: Chris and Samantha Jernigan Read of Springfield, by his brother: Willie (Shelby) Read of Springfield, by his sister: Shelbye (Kyle Epley) Tramell of Russellville, KY, by his grandparents: Earlene and Bill Estes, and by his niece: Presli Tramell, and by his nephews: Wyatt Epley and Gage Stewart.
