Codie Dewayne Adams

Codie Dewayne Adams, 31, of Greenbrier, passed away on Monday June 1, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Bryant and Reverend Bob Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lance Starks, Marty Schmidt, Brian Schmidt, Mark Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, and Mark Woods. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Everyone is asked to respect the CDC guidelines for social distancing.

Codie was born September 6, 1988. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier. He enjoyed farming and fishing. The highlight of Codie’s life was spending time with his son Noah. Codie was preceded in death by his mother: Kerrie Rippy Adams, and by his grandparents: Jerry Adams, Charlotte Garrison, and Jerry Lynn Rippy.

Codie leaves to cherish his memory, his son: Noah Jayce Adams of Springfield, his father and step-mother: Shane and Laura Adams of Springfield, his grandmother: Shirley Jean Ramsey Adams of Greenbrier, his brother: Cole Adams of Greenbrier, his sister: Nikki Woods of Cedar Hill, his step-sisters: Courteney Capps and Shelby Bradshaw both of Springfield, and by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
